Thunder Bay Yacht Club is planning to host a World Sailing Approved Offshore Personal Survival Course April 7 and 8 of 2018. This two-day course has great value for all boaters: cruising and racing sailors, power boat cruisers, and fisherman.
Dear Members,
As we draw together to close off the year, I would like to take this opportunity as your newly elected Commodore to wish you and your family the best of the season.
It is at this time of year that we reflect on our past activities and achievements and begin planning for the upcoming year.
Last night the Executive Board met for the first time to start to get ready for the 2018 boating season. There is already some exciting prospect being discussed as we strive to build, promote and encourage recreational boating on Lake Superior, the grandest of all lakes!
Congratulations to former TBYC Secretary Paul Morralee's on his election to Commodore! All the best wishes in leading the TBYC over the next term.
Also, welcome, and congratulations, to the TBYC Executive Board's new members:
Tyson Derouard: Bulletin
Lesley Dell: Secretary
Shannon Whale: Social
Finally, the board says farewell to Todd Sicliano as he leaves his post as Past Commodore. The club thanks him for his years of service on the executive.
