It is with deep sadness we share that long-time TBYC member, Bert Blaauw, a Past Commodore (1998-1999) and founder of the SUNORA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 6th, after a long battle with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Our deepest condolences to Pyteke and the family. He will be greatly missed.
 
A memorial service for family and friends will be held on Friday July 14th, 2017 at 1:00pm in the Avila Centre (670 Reaume St.), with a reception to follow at the TBYC Mission Island clubhouse.
